We started 1620 Workwear to make the best workwear in the category and to give hard-working, skilled laborers the product they have been looking for and deserve. For years, we watched our family and friends working in outdated, cotton canvas gear that didn’t fit and functioned poorly on the job. Cheap products that actually caused fatigue and made their lives harder. By using best in class fabrics and patterns, and making all of our products in the USA, 1620 has reinvented workwear.

We chose to make 1620 Workwear in the USA because we believe that the best fabric is still made in America and our sewing talent rivals that of any nation. Made in USA is the best way we can support our local communities. It gives us confidence that proper environmental and labor practices are in place. And if we can create livable wage jobs for friends and neighbors, that’s even better.
1620 Workwear's proprietary Stretch NYCO fabric engineered with CORDURA® fiber technology is up to 10X more durable and abrasion resistant than cotton. We’re confident our exclusive fabric will outlast anything you’re currently wearing.
1620 Workwear's Tech Stretch garments use proprietary four-way stretch fabric originally developed for use by special forces and professional contact sports leagues. Its robust double weave construction allows for extended durability and true stretch performance in the most extreme environments.
Your work matters. You charge a premium for what you do. It’s time to wear the clothing that represents your values and helps you be more productive on the job. You can always buy cheaper workwear, but you can’t buy better. 1620 Workwear is the only premium American-made workwear brand.
The average working guy goes through 5-8 pair of pants a year at an average price of $49. Our pants are proven to be 10X tougher than traditional cotton canvas work pants while providing you with significantly increased range of movement. Reducing fatigue and increasing safety on the jobsite.
1620 Is much better for the environment too. By purchasing fewer pants you are not only reducing the amount of trash that ends up in a landfill but also saving 1800+ of gallons of water that it takes to grow the cotton in one pair of traditional cotton work pants.
With domestic apparel manufacturing on the upswing, the founders of 1620 Workwear have been able to identify a handful of industry-leading fabric and garment factories that are committed to the long play in American manufacturing and have room for us to scale. Based on our years of experience manufacturing in Asia, we have set an incredibly high standard of both quality and compliance to ensure our partners can supply us with the components and labor to manufacture the highest quality American made workwear.
