Im addicted to 1620 gear. I have 10 pairs of pants and other 1620 apparel. The quality and comfort is unmatched by any other company and it’s all made in the USA! The quality of this jacket is evident when you first take it out of the package. It is very comfortable to wear. The body feels very warm, the sleeves feel like they don’t have very much insulation in them, which isn’t a huge concern because I intend to wear it over a hoodie. I wish it had a few more pockets on the inside. It was suggested to size up if you want to wear it over a hoodie, I normally wear a large, but sized up to an xl. I probably didn’t need to size up, seems to run bigger than the soft shell jacket. I initially planned to exchange for a large, but decided to keep the xl, it’s just too comfortable to send back. Overall I am very happy with this coat.

Absolutely A1 quality. As other reviews of other jackets have mentioned, the sizing on this is off. The large sleeves are much to short and the torso is much to short. I have a feeling if I size up to xl (based on other reviews), I will be left with a bunch of belly room. MAJOR bummer because I absolutely love the jacket materials and quality.
