I am 6’2” and about 225 lbs. In all other brands of sweatshirt I normally wear a 2XL. I went with XL size based off the reviews.
Fits a little tighter across my chest compared to other sweatshirts I own, but the length of sleeves and around waist is excellent! I have a long torso so I’m constantly pulling my sweater down when I’m bending over to pick up something at work, but do not have that issue with this one. The sleeves and kangaroo pouch are made from a strong material and when I’m working with wood it helps from getting caught as I’m reaching over things.
Thread material feels heavy and thick. I’ve worked outside in the snow and only have a t shirt on underneath. It allows for air to breathe through it and not get all sweaty and stuffy. I’m always wearing my hood inside and outside, and this one is oversized so the wind doesn’t get to my ears when I’m wearing a ball cap. No strings to be worried about getting caught or wrapped up in tools while working.
I was so impressed with the quality of the first hoodie I received that a week or two later I purchased another one in the exact same model. They fit the same and look great!
I’m of the mindset that if some product is high quality, it is worth a high asking price. These fit within that range for me. It is absolutely worth the money. I’m happy so far with both the products I’ve purchased and am now going to try out some pants and see if the same quality and craftsmanship is spread across other lines that 1620 offers. All in all, I would recommend anyone who is a trade worker to start looking at these products and get yourself one!
