For those who’ve rocked 1620 prior, y’all know the deal, but for those who haven’t I can’t encourage you enough to try it. I’ve been fortunate to try every jacket they have released and each one gets better and better. The nyco fabric is unbeatable along with that windproof fleece layer. On those single digit days with wind always haven to layer up extra was a must but now with this alpha insulation, hot dam does that just bring it all together.

I’ve worn, down and synthetic from other companies but this has to be my favorite. I’ve been in Amherst, MA since thanksgiving helping a buddy re side his house and being able to try this jacket out in these temps has made my life so comfortable.

Can’t say enough about 1620 but if you work outside invest in yourself with a company that backs that American dream.

Don't size up as the other 2 reviews say. I can wear the full tech work hoodie (which is the best hoodie ever made) underneath with no problem.
Excellent body heat retention. You may not even need the extra layer !

Im addicted to 1620 gear. I have 10 pairs of pants and other 1620 apparel. The quality and comfort is unmatched by any other company and it’s all made in the USA! The quality of this jacket is evident when you first take it out of the package. It is very comfortable to wear. The body feels very warm, the sleeves feel like they don’t have very much insulation in them, which isn’t a huge concern because I intend to wear it over a hoodie. I wish it had a few more pockets on the inside. It was suggested to size up if you want to wear it over a hoodie, I normally wear a large, but sized up to an xl. I probably didn’t need to size up, seems to run bigger than the soft shell jacket. I initially planned to exchange for a large, but decided to keep the xl, it’s just too comfortable to send back. Overall I am very happy with this coat.

Absolutely A1 quality. As other reviews of other jackets have mentioned, the sizing on this is off. The large sleeves are much to short and the torso is much to short. I have a feeling if I size up to xl (based on other reviews), I will be left with a bunch of belly room. MAJOR bummer because I absolutely love the jacket materials and quality.
