      The 1620 Foundation Pant features an understated five pocket design that is durable enough to be your everyday pant on and off the jobsite. This versatile pant gives you all the benefits of 1620's proprietary Stretch NYCO fabric blend combined with a modern fit, articulated knees and gusseted crotch for maximum comfort. The extra large back pockets and signature left hand mobile pocket provide more than enough storage for your everyday carry items. Military spec shank buttons and fly zipper are guaranteed not to fail. The PFC free durable water repellent finish helps keep you dryer longer in inclement weather.

    Finally found some worthwhile pants

    After my favorite REI trailsmith pants were discontinued I spent quite awhile trying to find a replacement. The two major work pants manufacturers have crazy quality control issues and aren't made in the US and none of the other pants I tried fit or seemed to last. Enter the foundation pant, I haven't had them for too long but so far the fit is fantastic, seem to be impervious to rain, very comfortable and block the cold wind pretty nicely. Might be a bit much in summer but time will tell.

    My son loves these

    My son works in the aircraft industry and asked for a pair of the 1620 pants for Christmas. He loves them so I purchased a second pair, well because he's my son. He says they are the best work pants he has ever had. Maybe I should consider a pair for the second son who is a carpenter!
